I think this is one of the fastest layouts I have done for a long time, taking me about 40 minutes. A few things I think helped were the fact I LOVED the August Boys of Summer Kit I used for this layout, which I purchased from Scraptastic Club, I had an awesome challenge to play along with at Scrap our Stash, and that I was scrapping a picture of my beloved Mini! The challenge guidelines were to use an assortment of school themed products, with a list provided. I started with some lined paper, and also used a Library Pocket and Card, a paper clip, alphas, and numbers. I built up some layers behind my picture using red, navy & light blue papers.

My quest to diminish my stash of flair continues, and I found a red one that said ‘Let’s go be adventurous’ which I really loved. It reminded me of all the road trips and fun outings I had taken in my Mini.

I built my title up on top of the Library card, drawing more attention to it by using an arrow paper clip. I used a sticker as a subtitle, and small number stickers to show the years I owned my Mini.

I miss this car so much! Now I can keep on enjoying the memories when I look back through my layouts. It’s not just people that we can scrapbook about!Mini - Layout by Juliet Sherriff at This Scrappened
